April Week 3

Well last weekend was our huge neighborhood yard sale. We were able to sell about $95 worth of stuff and donated the rest to the Goodwill!! 


The bathroom and bedroom look great, the office has a new chair and I cleaned out several desk drawers! We can finally see the garage floor although some organizing of the bins still need to be done. 


With only one week left in the month, I plan to clean out kitchen cabinets and finish up the garage this weekend. 


This is my last week of this semester at school so trying to squeeze in happiness project tasks is a bit overwhelming sometimes. 


But earlier as I was looking for something and opened not one but TWO completely empty desk drawers really did make me smile! YAY

April Week 2

This week we redecorated the office, I bought a large craft box for my beading and scrap booking supplies which freed up desk drawers and got new window treatments and hung new curtain rods all from Ikea! 

We also worked some in the garden, planting wild flowers in the garden boxes and found a couple of new vine trellises for the jasmine. 

Next week is our community yard sale so we have a nice big pile of stuff to sale with plans to use the money to put into more decorating! 

Anything not sold will go to Goodwill, out with the old in with the clean and clutter free! 

April Week 1

April for me is all about de-cluttering, redecorating and spring cleaning. I have decided to change out the bathroom from our standard sea foam green colors to neutral colors of white, light blue and green and sand color to reflect the ocean.  

Week one focused on the bathroom/bedroom. 

New towels, shower curtain and rugs have completely changed the look and brightened the space up.  

We have painted and hung our creatures, octopi and seahorses for a fun beachy theme that's unique and colorful.
